- Continuous Stay: They must have maintained residence in the state for at least 12 consecutive months without applying to relocate elsewhere.
- Legal Conditions: Applicants must have spent a minimum of 72 hours in Alaska within the last 24 months, and they must not have been imprisoned for any felonies in the past 12 months or for misdemeanors if they have two or more offenses since January 1, 1997.
