Just a few days after launching iOS 18.2 for the public, Apple has initiated the beta cycle once more. Developer beta testers can now access iOS 18.3. Here’s everything you need to be aware of.
The first beta of iOS 18.3 is available for developer testers under the build number 22D5034e. Currently, there is no public beta available, and a timeline for its release has not yet been disclosed.
The previous update, iOS 18.2, introduced several significant features to the iPhone, including enhancements in Apple Intelligence like Genmoji, Image Playground, and integration of ChatGPT with Siri.
Details on what’s included in iOS 18.3 are still unknown. However, Apple has additional Apple Intelligence features planned, which encompass a next-gen Siri capable of personal context, in-app actions, and screen awareness. We are also anticipating the rollout of Priority Notifications, a feature that leverages artificial intelligence to highlight your most critical alerts first.
Beyond the Apple Intelligence enhancements, Apple is also progressing to support robotic vacuums in HomeKit and extending the redesigned Apple Mail interface to iPad and Mac.
The release for iOS 18.3 to the public is expected by late January. Following this, testing for iOS 18.4 will commence, likely culminating in a March or April release.
It remains to be seen whether these new functionalities will be included in iOS 18.3.
