Following a three-week holiday hiatus, Apple has resumed the rollout of the iOS 18.3 beta updates. Developer beta testers can now access iOS 18.3 beta 2, which is anticipated to launch for everyone later this month.
iOS 18.3 beta 2 comes with the build number 22D5040d. While a new public beta hasn’t been issued yet, we expect that to change later today.
There weren’t significant new features or modifications introduced with iOS 18.3 beta 1, and iOS 18.3 beta 2 is likely to follow suit.
The update is primarily aimed at addressing bugs and enhancing performance, and it does not introduce any new features related to Apple Intelligence.
- Support for robot vacuums in the Home app
- Updated icon for the Image Playground app
- Fixes for issues with the Writing Tools API and Genmoji
- Face ID or Touch ID login options for the Feedback app
- Dark mode support for the Camera Control menu icon in the Accessibility settings
If you discover anything new in iOS 18.3 beta 2, please share your findings in the comments below or on Twitter @DMN and Threads @DMN. Keep an eye out for our comprehensive hands-on coverage of the new releases here at DMN today and throughout the week.
