As previously mentioned, Apple Intelligence now provides a summary of all user reviews when browsing an app or game’s listing in the App Store.
The new ‘Review Summary’ compiles user feedback into a concise paragraph that reflects the app’s reception among users.
I’ve appreciated having a similar feature in Amazon’s shopping app for a while, making it easier to gauge public opinion on products. Incorporating this into app and game reviews is a logical step that should enhance user experience by saving time.
#2: Ability to Pause App Downloads and Updates
Generally, allowing an app download or update to complete is not an issue, but there are times—due to poor connectivity, network congestion, or other factors—when pausing a download would be beneficial.
Previously, the only way to pause a download was to interrupt it entirely, forcing you to restart from scratch later.
Now, with iOS 18.4, users have a new option to pause the download of an app or update temporarily, enabling them to resume it later without losing progress.
Though it’s a minor change, it’s a useful improvement for those occasions when downloads encounter hiccups.
