Apple has officially launched the M4 MacBook Air in a vibrant new Sky Blue shade, and we’re now uncovering significant discounts on the recent releases – the M3 iPad Air and the latest iPad (A16). Best Buy is currently providing a $50 discount on the new M3 Air for members, and trading in an M2 can yield up to $650 off. You can also achieve the same savings on the iPad A16 by trading in an iPad 10, allowing you to purchase the new model for 50% off. These promotions accompany Apple’s 16-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 48GB of RAM, now over $300 off, and nearly 25% off the Apple Pencil Pro, among other deals. Check out all these offers in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break.
Apple’s 16-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 48GB of RAM is over $300 off today at Amazon
Many users are content with the new 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro, especially since they come with double the RAM. However, if you seek more screen space and powerful performance without splurging on M4 Max prices, Amazon has slashed the price of the 16-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro featuring 48GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD to $2,593 shipped – a reduction of over $300, very close to the best price we’ve seen.
This 16-inch, 48GB configuration typically retails for $2,899, presenting a savings of $306 and one of the lowest prices recorded – we did spot one variant drop to $2,591 for a brief period, but this deal aligns with our historical best prices.
That said, if these devices feel excessively powerful for your purposes or you don’t require a 16-inch display, there are impressive discounts on the M4 and M4 Pro 14-inch models currently available:
How to score the brand new iPad (A16) from just $174 with any prev-gen iPad 10 trade-in today
Just yesterday, we highlighted some great savings opportunities on the new M3 iPad Air pre-orders, and this morning, we’re turning our attention to the freshly unveiled iPad (A16) – the enhanced iPad 10. While some may see it as a lackluster upgrade, I find it a fantastic family-friendly option that now features double the storage and a 30% faster processor compared to its predecessor, all while keeping the same price as the previous year. The new model is currently available for pre-order on Amazon, and Best Buy is offering up to $175 off with trade-ins of even the basic 64GB model, allowing you to snag the new A16 for just $174. More details below.
While the new iPad 11, or officially termed the iPad A16, might not excite hardcore Apple tablet enthusiasts, it provides a wonderful casual iPad experience, particularly if you can grab one at over half off.
Best Buy is offering a generous $175 discount on the new 128GB iPad A16 for trades involving the previous iPad 10 (64GB model) – enabling you to upgrade to a faster device with more storage for a steal.
To use the base model 128GB iPad A16 versus the base model 64GB iPad 10 as an illustration:
The process is straightforward; go to the iPad A16 listing on Best Buy, select your desired storage size and color, then add it to your cart.
Upon reaching the cart, you’ll see a trade-in option right beneath your new iPad A16 – click on that and choose the iPad 10 you own. If it’s in good condition, Best Buy will apply a $175 discount on your A16 pre-order, effectively bringing your cost down to $174 shipped.
While the A16 may seem basic, it’s still a brand-new iPad for just $174 – quite a great deal if you ask me.
Brand new M3 iPad Air up to $650 off the new with M2 Air trades, or $50 off without one for members
Update: The new M3 iPad Air models are now up for pre-order at Amazon:
Apple just launched its impressive M3 iPad Air lineup, and we’re now observing significant trade-in values along with great deals for Best Buy members upgrading from the M2 model (or any other device). Best Buy is providing up to $650 off the M3 iPad Air starting now when you trade in your M2 Air for the new model – assuming it’s in good condition, of course. The specifics are outlined below.
As is common, the value of your M2 iPad Air trade-in at Best Buy is influenced by its condition, model size, and storage. If your device is in decent shape, you can earn anywhere from $350 to $650 off your new M3 iPad Air.
Additionally, there are alternative trade-in opportunities available – you can toss in any older iPad you wish to swap out, but we’ll focus on the M2 Air for now as an example for those moving up to the more advanced chipset.
On top of the trade-in offers, Best Buy Plus and Total members can claim $50 off their order even without any trade-ins.
Now let’s evaluate the trade-in values.
The process is simple: visit either the 11-inch or 13-inch iPad Air listings, select your preferred color and storage option, and add it to your cart. In your cart, prior to finalizing your purchase, click on the trade-in option to kick off the trade-in process.
Apple Pencil Pro with Find My and M3 iPad Air compatibility still down at $99 (Nearly 25% off)
After briefly going out of stock over the weekend, Amazon’s deal on the latest Apple Pencil Pro at $99 is available once again. Shipping is free, offering nearly 25% in savings compared to the regular $129 price of Apple’s flagship stylus. Following a rise in pricing and limited availability on the premium iPad writing accessory before last year’s holiday season, we previously noticed the Pro drop to this $99 price during Black Friday.
There were some fleeting deals last fall that dropped the Apple Pencil Pro as low as $89 at Amazon, along with occasional offers around $94, but those prices have not been replicated since.
Initially released last May, this Apple Pencil was compatible solely with the M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air. However, Apple has since introduced its latest iPad mini 7, which also supports the professional-grade stylus – presumably, it will work on the upcoming iPad models slated for 2025 as well, though this remains to be confirmed, particularly with the anticipated entry-level iPad 11.
