iPhone 16 Pro Commercial Features Brazilian Carnival Track in Audio Mix Promotion

This past weekend, Apple released a new advertisement for the iPhone 16 Pro that stands out for its unique flair. Highlighting the Audio Mix feature, the company produced a vibrant music video shot entirely on the latest iPhone, intertwining it with a tribute to the Brazilian Carnival.

iPhone 16 Pro Ad Celebrating Brazilian Carnival

The track “Brasil em Cena,” performed by renowned Brazilian artist Nilze Carvalho and penned by Jair Oliveira, sets the stage for an ad that Apple describes as a celebration of Brazilian cinema infused with one of the world’s most dynamic musical styles. This ad is framed as a “homage to the rich cultural heritage of Brazil, where the vibrancy of Carnival harmonizes with the narrative artistry of film.”

Utilizing the Audio Mix, users of the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro can manipulate the sound in three distinct ways—reducing audio from off-screen sources, filtering out background noise and reverb, or consolidating all voices into a front-facing track for a more cinematic experience. Notably, these adjustments can be made post-filming.

In Brazil, this advertisement made its television debut during the 2025 Oscars broadcast, a significant moment as the country celebrated its first Oscar win for “I’m Still Here” in the Best International Feature Film category.

To further commemorate the Brazilian Carnival, Apple has refreshed its Brazilian website with a festive carnival look, featuring newer products like the iPhone 16e and AirPods 4 showcased amid a flurry of confetti. Additionally, a new section dedicated to Carnival playlists has been introduced on Apple Music.
