Today, pipfix (@lusiRoy8) shared a photo that perfectly showcases this combination.
Initially, I mistook the dummy unit’s color for the existing blue iPhone 16. However, the standout feature is the upper third section of the back of the iPhone 17 Pro Max dummy model along with its case. That’s where the prominent camera bump bar significantly extends in all dimensions.
Apple is anticipated to implement this camera bar design in both the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Let’s hope that the enhancement in photo quality aligns with the substantial increase in the camera bump’s size!
While the regular iPhone 17 is expected to retain the same dual-camera setup as the iPhone 16, rumors suggest the introduction of the iPhone 17 Air to replace the iPhone 16 Plus. This variant is said to feature the slimmest design of any iPhone to date. Despite its single rear-facing camera, it too will adopt the camera bar design.
