Jamie Lynn Spears has finally broken her silence about the treatment of Britney Spears in her conservatorship. Interestingly, the younger of the Spears sisters came up a few days after the older sister opened up about her experiences whilst being under the care of her father. The star from “Zoey 101” first posted a series of Instagram videos on Monday after the testimony came forth- in which the pop star mentioned that she would be suing her family for living off her money for the last 13 years.
Jamie Lynn Comes Up In Support Of Britney Spears
In her own statement, Jamie Lynn mentioned that the only reason why she hadn’t said anything yet was that she was waiting for her sister to take the first step. It was her belief that Britney had to come forward first- after all, it was her story to tell. But now, as the pop star has already provided her testimony, the younger sibling could go up and say whatever was needed from her end.
Jamie Lynn also stated that it was pretty clear that she loved Britney more than anything. And despite the eccentricities or the antics that might have cropped up in Britney’s life, she was still her sister- and her family. Lynn further claimed that it wouldn’t matter if Britney went off to a rainforest in order to give birth to a whole lot of babies- because it didn’t affect her life at all. She only wanted the best for her sister.
Jamie Lynn did punctuate her statement by stating that her support for Britney Spears was much more intimate and familial, rather than just a couple of hashtags on Instagram. In fact, she proved that by being a responsible aunt to Britney’s children. And as far as finances go, Lynn has mentioned that she had been paying her way through life since she was 10 years old. This implies that her support and love for her sister wasn’t based on the latter’s wealth- it was based on family.
