Star of the popular Netflix series Wednesday Jenna Ortega recently voiced her enthusiasm about Lady Gaga performing the popular TikTok dance from her show at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. On Wednesday, Jenna Ortega played the lead character and did the dance to Lady Gaga’s song “Bloody Mary.”
“It was kind of one of those moments when you notice [how] life changes extremely fast, and it’s pretty weird,” Ortega said about the incident on the Golden Globe red carpet. For Ortega, this was of particular importance because she had previously worked with a hairstylist who had previously worked with Gaga and had even attended one of her concerts a few years prior. Wednesday, which debuted in November 2021, is currently recognized as one of Netflix’s all-time most-watched programs.
The project has been eagerly awaited since it was initially revealed in 2021 it features Tim Burton as executive producer and a number of A-list celebrities, like Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Christina Ricci in the cast. The show centers on Ortega as Wednesday Addams, a little girl who tries to solve a monstrous mystery at her new school, Nevermore Academy, based on creatures created by Charles Addams.

In an interview with Tulum, the show’s creators, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar stated that a second season has been ordered. “We are eager to explore the bizarre, eerie realm of Nevermore in yet another season. If Gaga were to appear in the second season, Jenna Ortega was asked what role she would want her to play. “I think Mrs. Thornhill (Ricci) and Wednesday had this weird kind of mentor relationship or kind of understood each other in a certain way, so if Lady Gaga were to be a part, I think they would have to be two monsters than understand each other,” Ortega said.
