Jerry Lee Lewis Failed To Attend An Event Owing To His Health Conditions
The beloved singer and musician was suffering from flu for almost the last three weeks and thus failed to be present at the occasion of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed by the singer’s rep that he is alive. To diagnose the underlying issues behind his deteriorating health conditions he fixed an appointment with his doctor which led to the spread of this rumor of his death.
Failing to attend the ceremony organized by the Country Music Hall of Fame last Sunday, Jerry Lee Lewis posted a message on his social media handles conveying his fans his disappointment and sadness. Jerry stated that he tried his best to attend the event that evening but failed to build up his strength that day. He conveyed his sincere apologies for missing the occasion and ended the note by saying that he hoped to meet them soon.
The honor was received by his old beloved friend Kris Kristofferson from Hank Williams Jr. Jerry Lee Lewis’ received it from Kris and his wife Lisa as they drove down to Memphis to present Jerry the honor.
