Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita, who met on the set of their hit CBS show “Modern Family,” have become parents again. The couple announced they were expecting their second child in February, and on Thursday shared photos of their new son — named Maximilian David Ferguson — via Instagram. The first photo features a sleeping Max snuggled up against his father’s chest with his tiny hand resting on his dad’s face. Ferguson captioned the photo: “The newest addition to our family has arrived! Welcome, Maximilian David Ferguson.”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson Becomes Mom For Second Time
The happy news was announced on Monday by Jesse’s brother-in-law, Victor Garber, who posted a photo of himself holding up a baby boy in front of a blue backdrop with the caption “Congratulations to my sister @kristenfergie & her husband @jesseftferguson on their sweet new bundle of joy! We’re all overjoyed at this blessed event. Welcome home Sutton James Mikita!”
Jesse responded by sharing a picture from inside his hospital room with mother Kristen Bell and newborn son Sutton, revealing their last name is Mikita because Justin changed it for him after learning he was going down that road legally — presumably in order to make things easier for them when they start having kids together someday (which would be really cute).
“I think we are all trying to figure out what this is going to be like and how will we do it,” Ferguson said of the pandemic’s effect on his family. “It’s a little stressful, but we’re just really excited to have a new member of our family.”
Ferguson and Mikita are also parents to 1-year-old daughter Harper. The two were married in Las Vegas on Aug. 18, 2018.
“We’re so happy that Harper has been able to meet her brother already,” Jesse Tyler Ferguson told People. “And I’m sure she’ll be a great big sister.”
