Olivia Newton-John, a longtime friend and former co-star, passed away on Monday at 73. John Travolta paid homage to her.
John Travolta, in his statement, said, addressing Olivia as my dear Olivia, that she made their lives much better and that her impact on the business was incredible. Ending the note, Travolta said that he loved her very much. With this caption of John’s Instagram post, he posted a throwback picture of Olivia Newton-John.
He said that they would meet again down the road and said that they would be together again.
The performers were well-known for their roles in “Grease” together.
The legendary 1978 movie starred John Travolta, now 68, as Danny Zuko and Olivia Newton-John as Sandy Olsson. Years after collaborating on the adored film musical, the two remained close.

According to a statement on the Facebook page of the actress, Newton-John died at her property in Southern California surrounded by loved ones after a protracted fight with cancer.
The statement also stated that Olivia had been a symbol of hope and triumphs to him for more than thirty years while she was fighting against breast cancer.
He noted that her healing inspiration and experience with plant meds will now be continued with the Olivia Newton-John fund named after the actress. This fund was dedicated to researching plant-based medicines for cancer.
Over the years, Travolta kept in touch with Newton-John frequently. In a 2019 interview with U.S. Weekly, he discussed their relationship in detail and provided a positive health report.
He said they were together a few months before and were always connected through texts. John Travolta also stated that they had something planned to do together.
