Kate Walsh is finally giving people a glimpse into her life in Australia. The 55-year-old star of The Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice cozied up to her fiance Andrew Nixon in a couple of sweet pictures that she shared on Friday on the social media platform from Sydney. The pictures definitely added a lot more intrigue to the latest cliffhanger for her returning character on Grey’s Anatomy, Addison Montgomery. Walsh went on to caption one of the photos with ‘Hey Sydney, yer cute’, as the picture was taken at Mimi’s, a restaurant in Sydney. She also uploaded a picture of the couple on her Instagram Story, where she wrote, ‘Phat Cats and happy.’

The posts of Kate Walsh were uploaded after she returned this week as Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital was ravaged by anti-abortion protests. The episode ended with Addison, and a trainee- who was pregnant- being run over in the middle of the street, and their fates would not be understood until next week. Addison has been a recurring character on the Shondaland show ever since she debuted as Addison in the 1st season, and starred in her own show, Private Practice, which ran for six separate seasons from 2007 to 2013.
Kate Walsh, who has also played quite an important role in Emily in Paris, and lives with Nixon in Perth, had previously revealed their engagement news in October on an Instagram Live that she had hosted with Amy Brenneman, another Private Practice alum. The 58-year-old Brenneman informed Nixon that she had completely outed their engagement. The couple had made their first appearance as a couple at the Telethon Gala in 2022, which is an Australian charity event that supports children with life-threatening diseases.
