Katie Maloney is bidding farewell to the house she shared with ex-boyfriend Tom Schwartz.
The Vanderpump Rules star, 35, expressed her sentiments about letting go of a tangible element of her relationship in an emotional Instagram post this week. Maloney, 39, named Schwartz in the tweet, which comes only months after she asked for a divorce from her 12-year partner and co-star. On March 15, the Vanderpump Rules reality stars announced their breakup on their individual Instagram profiles, and Maloney filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court a week later, according to PEOPLE.
Katie Maloney Wrote An Emotional Goodbye
Maloney said on her podcast You are Going to Love Me on March 18 that she and her ex-boyfriend were still living with each other in their home despite ending their relationship.
“We are simply trying to get through these levels together and truly concentrate on being friends,” she explained.
According to reports, Katie Maloney updated her Instagram story on her plans to move out on June 4. On the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in May, Maloney discussed her choice to break her 12-year marriage. “The moment I made that decision, the thing I was most afraid of became a gift — it became an opportunity for the opportunity, and I was not afraid of it anymore,” she stated. “I like hanging out, mingling, or like, I have gone on a date,” Maloney said, adding that she was not “looking to obtain a guy.”
The exes started dating in 2010 and married in 2016, but it was not until 2019 that they filed the actual documents to be legally wedded.
