Mixed reviews have been left for the long-awaited initial episode of the series which has Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa who are a married couple. The married pair was criticized by several spectators for their made-up banter and boredom during the one-hour program.
Consuelos revealed that he and Kelly Ripa had recently had a romantic stroll in Central Park, and Kelly Ripa — who displayed intense romance with her spouse throughout the event — was even charged with constantly cutting him off. When Kelly Ripa interrupted, he said that they used to race across the park whereas now they just chased each other.

Fans went crazy about this banter of theirs on the show and thought the fight was on in real life. Several fans stated their opinions regarding the show and even asked Kelly Ripa to stop interrupting her spouse so much. Consuelos, 52, replaced Seacrest. The 49-year-old Ryan Seacrest used to hold the position that is currently assigned to Consuelos. Seacrest had announced in Feb that he’d be leaving the position after almost six years to return to LA and concentrate on work there. On 14th April he had his farewell episode, which was accompanied by sobs and moving words.
The 52-year-old Ripa tried to hold back tears as she declared in a short speech that she had a few things to tell him. She continued that even though he and she have been good friends for a very long time, their time together has passed so quickly, and that she feels through this journey on the show she has gained a younger brother.
Kelly joined the Regis Philbin-hosted talk program in 2001. In 2012, Seacrest took his place, and less than five years later, Michael Strahan. Over the years, Consuelos frequently served as a substitute host.
