Khloe Kardashian has decided to take a stand regarding a photo of her body that was unedited. Reportedly, her team worked on getting the photo taken removed from the internet as it was unauthorized.
A Statement From Khloe Kardashian
On Wednesday, 7th April, Khloe Kardashian had posted videos and a photo of her body on her official Instagram account. The star from the show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” said in the post that the photo showed her unfiltered and unretouched self.
A recent statement from Khloe Kardashian, however, explained the situation with the photo. She said that the posted photo was beautiful. However, since she has fought with issues regarding her body image for as long as she is alive, the unauthorized sharing of such a picture deserves to be acted upon. She added that such a picture that does not flatter her or make her physique look bad even after she worked hard to achieve what she has, is very traumatic.
Khloe Kardashian continued that the constant pressure, judgment, and ridicule, and the need to meet the standards of others by being perfect, has taken a toll on her mental health. Earlier on, her team reportedly attempted to remove the picture on grounds of copyright infringement. It is a casual shot of the star relaxing by the pool wearing a bikini.
Tracy Romulus, the chief officer for marketing for the KKW Brand, said that it was a mistake by an assistant that caused the private edited photo to be posted on social media. On Friday, Khloe opened up about how she was referred to, on social platforms, as the ugly or the fat sister.
Khloe continued that she will not stop using filters or editing her photos as that is a way of presenting herself to her audience. She said it is no place for anyone else’s judgment.
