Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to address the controversy surrounding her husband Kanye West’s recent comments about Jews controlling the world.

Kim Kardashian squashed anti-Semitic claims that the Jews control the world on Sunday at a Florida rally for her husband Kanye West, who made the much-maligned assertion last month.

“I’m gonna keep it real with you guys: I am not only [Yeshua], but I also represent Israel,” Kim told supporters in Miami Beach’s Bayfront Park. “I know it sounds crazy, but if you read up on it…you’ll find out all these things are true.”

According to Kim, this statement was not an endorsement of Christianity over Judaism or Islam—it was simply an expression of pride in her heritage as an American Jew and a member of what she called “the most persecuted minority group in history”—and she encouraged people who disagreed with her views to “do some research” before judging them too harshly.

Kim Kardashian Speaks Up Against Kanye West

In an Instagram post, the “ Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star was seen tweeting, “Anyone that knows me and my family knows that we are not antisemitic. We love our Jewish friends and neighbors! I will never forget the time I spent with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach and his beautiful family.”

Boteach is a practicing Jew who has been friends with the Kardashian family for years. He is also known for being an author, rabbi, public speaker, TV host and social activist.

Kim Kardashian’s tweet about her family shows that she is not afraid to speak out. She doesn’t want people to think she is antisemitic, so she took the time to tell them that she isn’t. It takes a lot of courage for someone like Kim Kardashian to stand up against those who are spreading hate speech toward others because they have different beliefs or religious views than theirs.
