Kit Connor, the star of the Netflix show “Heartstopper” reveals his sexuality after he was compelled to speak about it in an open forum.
Kit Sebastian Connor is just 18 and has been acting since a very young age. He made his debut through minor roles in different television shows and films. Connor rose to fame after playing the role of one of the leads, Nick Nelson in the Netflix series named “Heartstopper” which is the adaptation of a graphic novel by Alice Oseman.
Kit Connor has also signed his next project for an upcoming film adaptation of the novel “A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow” by Laura Taylor Namey.
For quite a few days fans have started queerbaiting about him speculating about his sexuality. He was recently seen with Maia Reficco, the co-star of Connor from his upcoming project. Connor was seen holding Maia’s hands which soon led to a lot of discussions and speculations.
Kit Connor Used The Platform Of Twitter To Speak Up
Connor tweeted last Monday that people failed to understand the whole point of the Netflix series “Heartstopper”. He stated that he was almost forced to speak up about his sexuality and made it clear that he was disappointed and upset at his fans for not providing him with enough private space.
He congratulated his followers and fans in a sarcastic tone for being successful in making him out himself. He mentioned about his tender age and was exasperated towards his fans.
Connor also left from his social media platforms after he was claimed to have been queerbaiting by his fans.
It was speculated that Kit Connor was hinting about his sexuality but was not directly speaking of it or confirming it in the public forum. Connor also called “Twitter” a silly app and tweeted that he’ll be deleting his Twitter account as well.
