It is the very first time Khloé Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner speak about the confusion about Khloe’s second child with her former boyfriend Tristan Thompson, an NBA player. In a clip for the second season of The Kardashians that premiered on Tuesday, Kris Jenner spoke of seeing her daughter, Khloe, go through a challenging period while addressing the announcement of their newborn child.
As the co-founder of Good American, Khloe remarked, “There’s something that I’m ready to talk about. Tristan and I are having another baby. It’s supposed to be an exciting time, and it’s just a different experience.”
Kris Jenner, aged 66, stated that it’s hard to watch her daughter in pain, seeming distressed. Kardashian declares that this was a tough phase in her life, but it’s the beginning of something beautiful.
The Second Time Is Not The Same For Kris Jenner
In 2016, they began dating, and in 2018, they announced the birth of their daughter True Thompson. Before coming back together, they parted ways in 2021. In January of this year, Kardashian quit her relationship with Thompson. Within the same month, he posted on Instagram that he had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols, stating that he takes total responsibility for his actions and apologizes to everyone he hurt throughout this journey, privately and publicly.
He wrote that Khloe did not deserve the humiliation and pain he had endured. He also apologizes for his actions and once again states his love and respect for her. The child, according to Nichols, was conceived while Thompson was dating Kardashian.
A Kardashian representative revealed to PEOPLE that Khloe and Thompson had their second child, a boy, through surrogacy. A source then revealed to PEOPLE that Kardashian was taking her time naming the baby. The source claimed Khloé hasn’t revealed any name yet and is taking her time with the name. Kourtney Kardashian claims that season 3 of The Kardashians have already begun, while season 2 debuts on Thursday.
