In a very heart-touching tribute, the 55-year-old actress of Schmigadoon! announced on Instagram Sunday that her biological mother, Lynn, had died. Along with a beautiful remembrance, the actress also uploaded quite a few pictures of her mother, along with snapshots of their life together.
Kristin Chenoweth Offers Moving Tribute On Her Mother’s Passing
In her touching tribute, Kristin Chenoweth mentioned that the woman who had brought her into her life, Lynn aka Mamalynn, had passed away. The actress mentioned that the years that she knew her had been purely magical. She further mentioned that a lot of things had become pretty clear to her about herself after she met her and truly came to know her. Everyone who met Kristin’s mother fell in love with the pure energy that she gave, and they loved her more for her light. She was an artist, according to Kristin.
The Broadway star also went on to state that she was the mother of Jennifer, and a son, Chris, and she definitely loved her kids. When Kristin Chenoweth was inside her mother’s womb, she claimed to have been a fan of Jimmie Vaughan, Stevie Ray, Doyle Bramhall, Jimi Hendrix, and obviously Billy Ethridge- who was her biological dad. She claims that it was her biological parents who gave her the innate artistic ability that she possesses today.
A lot of Kristin Chenoweth’s colleagues also expressed their condolences on the passing of her mother, including Selma Blair, Octavia Spencer, Jessica Capshaw, Rosie O’Donnell, Kenny Ortega, and Kyle Richards.
