When exiting the TODAY Show studios on Tuesday, June 27 in New York City, Lana Condor was beaming.
The 26-year-old actress spoke on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna to discuss Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, her most recent film. Lana Condor talked openly about the movie and her approaching nuptials to her longtime boyfriend Anthony De La Torre, even sharing what they choose to do in place of a lavish wedding.
“I was preparing this big thing and I realized, it’s so much money! We don’t have a wedding date set yet!” Lana gave something to the hosts. We finally put our first family home together, and the wedding will take place in the backyard. Make it more relaxed.

Speaking of her engagement, she said that it was the biggest secret she has ever maintained when she spoke with Wayne Ayers for Where Is The Buzz. Being engaged was the biggest secret she had to keep hidden for the longest period of time. Before I actually really sort of told anyone, I held it secret for a number of months.
We wanted it to be private, so I kind of kept that a sacred thing between myself and my boyfriend, she continued. It was difficult to keep that a secret. The former co-stars have remained close friends after the movies came to an end, and they even got together earlier this past year at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, when images of them went viral.
