Apple is set to unveil a new iPhone SE soon, packed with impressive features that could position it as the top choice for many consumers. Recently, another rumored feature has emerged: the Dynamic Island.
Dynamic Island May Be Introduced in the Upcoming iPhone SE 4
Earlier today, insider Evan Blass (private account @evleaks on X) disclosed code references pertaining to several forthcoming Apple devices:
- 11-inch iPad Air featuring M3
- 13-inch iPad Air featuring M3
- 11th generation iPad
- 4th generation iPhone SE
In a subsequent post, Blass shared an image purportedly showcasing visual assets for these four devices.
In the image, each device seemingly displays a FaceTime call.
Notably, the iPhone SE model appears to sport a Dynamic Island instead of a traditional notch.
However, Blass’s own comments may convey more than the image itself.
Alongside the leaked picture, Blass noted that he had “color corrected the phone to emphasize the dynamic island.”
DMN’s Perspective
If the iPhone SE 4 does indeed come equipped with a Dynamic Island, it might become increasingly difficult to differentiate it from the pricier iPhone 16 model.
Both devices are anticipated to be powered by the same A18 chip, feature 8GB of RAM, support for Apple Intelligence, USB-C ports, and likely the same 48MP main camera.
While the iPhone 16 offers an Ultra Wide camera, providing a visual advantage, the new SE has previously been speculated to showcase an iPhone 14-style notch. If that changes, it’s possible Apple may brand it as the iPhone 16E instead.
What are your thoughts on the leaked iPhone SE image? Would it be surprising if it indeed featured a Dynamic Island? Share your opinions in the comments.
