A source close to plastic surgeons Dr. Lenny Hochstein and Lisa Hochstein told Page Six on Sunday that Lenny is going public with his allegations of abuse against Lisa because he wants her to stop playing the victim.
“He’s going to be documenting his pain and suffering from the abuse he suffered in the relationship,” said a source close to the couple who asked not to be identified because they were not authorized by either party to speak publicly about their divorce. “[Lenny] endured this for years, and it just got too much for him to handle,” they said of why Lenny decided now was the right time for him to share details of what he claims happened during his marriage.
Lenny Hochstein Accuses Wife As Abusive
Dr. Lenny Hochstein is accusing his estranged wife, fellow plastic surgeon Lisa Hochstein, of abuse. The former couple’s split in January was messy and public, with the pair trading barbs in the press through their lawyers. Now Lenny is accusing Lisa of abusing him while they were married.
Lisa has been on a downward spiral since news broke that she had cheated on her husband with an old friend’s husband. She has since moved out of their home and began a new relationship with another surgeon who performs rhinoplasty procedures (a nose job).

The couple has been married for 10 years and have two children together. The former couple has been embroiled in a bitter divorce battle since May 2018; they’re currently involved in court-ordered mediation sessions aimed at resolving their financial disputes out of court. Lenny filed for divorce after claiming he was often verbally abused by Lisa during their marriage; he also claimed she threatened him with violence on several occasions.
