Currently, LG Innotech holds a substantial market share for Apple iPhone camera modules, suggesting that a significant increase in production capacity is not immediately necessary. Consequently, the primary aim of this investment appears to be the modernization of equipment and facilities in line with the high specifications of the iPhone 17 series camera module.
As we are still several months away from the iPhone 17 lineup release, it is not surprising that details regarding specific changes, particularly concerning the camera module or the overall phone features, are minimal.
We anticipate a new model, provisionally dubbed the iPhone 17 Air (the final name may differ). This model is expected to be one of the slimmest iPhones ever made, prioritizing a sleek design over specifications, including a smaller cutout for an upgraded Face ID module. A significant compromise is likely the inclusion of only one camera, despite potentially having a higher price tag than the triple-camera large-screen iPhone 17 Pro Max.
