Luminar Photo Editor Introduces RAW Support and iCloud Sync for iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro

The Luminar Mobile photo editing application is launching two highly requested features today: full support for RAW image editing and iCloud synchronization across devices, all included in version 2.2.

Luminar Mobile is accessible on various devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro. The inclusion on Apple Vision Pro is noteworthy since it lacks built-in photo editing capabilities in its native Photos app. With iCloud sync available, Luminar Mobile is a must-have for those who prioritize image editing.

Here’s a summary of the new features in Luminar Mobile 2.2:

Comprehensive RAW Format Support
With this update, Luminar Mobile introduces support for RAW files from leading camera brands. Users gain access to advanced editing tools with options for exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, temperature, and tint adjustments. This extensive support empowers photographers to enhance their images with remarkable precision.

Edit History Saving
The new edit history feature automatically saves all modifications, allowing users to revisit and continue their edits whenever needed. This functionality enhances user control over the creative process by enabling easy tracking and review of their editing journey.

iCloud Sync for Edit History
For those who utilize multiple devices, Luminar Mobile now incorporates iCloud sync. Edits made on one device, like an iPhone, can easily be transferred to another device, such as an iPad. This enhances workflow across Apple devices, allowing users to start a project on one device and effortlessly continue on another.

User Interface Enhancements
Informed by user feedback, the latest version of Luminar Mobile features various UI refinements. These enhancements make the app more intuitive and enjoyable to use. For iPad users, the Tool Develop section has been reorganized, with the Saturation and Vignette tools now available as separate, easily accessible tools. Additionally, a “Revert to Original” button has been introduced, enabling quick resets to the original image.
