This particular configuration experienced an official price adjustment last fall when Apple upgraded its RAM options—replacing the 8GB model with a 16GB configuration at no additional cost. This effectively reduced the MSRP of every model by $200.
This machine previously boasted a list price of $1,899 before last October, when the 24GB 15-inch Air was adjusted to $1,699. Today’s deal marks a new all-time low on Amazon: $550 below the original price and $350 below its post-RAM-increase price.
