Apple has introduced a new beta version of macOS Sequoia 15.3. This latest release candidate beta is now being made available for both developers and users in the public beta program.
Highlights of macOS 15.3 Feature Two Key Apple Intelligence Updates
Users who have enabled beta updates can easily install the newest beta version of macOS 15.3 by navigating to System Settings ⇾ General ⇾ Software Update.
Today’s release candidate (RC) is a significant step towards the upcoming public launch of macOS Sequoia 15.3, anticipated within the next week or so.
The focus of this update primarily revolves around enhancements to Apple Intelligence, incorporating two major features:
- Support for Genmoji on the Mac
- Modifications to AI summary features
The latter feature was initially rolled out in last week’s beta 3 release.
This update responds to previous controversies concerning the Apple Intelligence notification summaries, which occasionally provided misleading information to users.
Apple Intelligence remains in beta status, which means that features like notification summaries might still have inaccuracies.
The beta versions for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS have made it simpler to identify notifications that include AI-generated summaries by using italics, disabling summaries temporarily for news applications, among other adjustments.
While we are unsure about the specific changes included in this latest release, we will keep you updated with any new findings.
