macOS 15.5 Beta 2 Released for Developers

In early April, Apple initiated a new beta cycle with the release of macOS Sequoia 15.5 developer beta 1. While a public beta has yet to be announced, the second developer beta has just been released.

macOS Sequoia 15.5 offers no significant updates thus far

macOS Sequoia 15.5 is the upcoming important update for the Mac.

The beta testing has commenced, but so far, the new software hasn’t produced substantial excitement.

Although macOS 15.4 was released publicly with several important features from iOS and iPadOS missing—such as Priority Notifications and recipes in the News app—unfortunately, macOS 15.5 beta 1 did not include either of these features.

Additionally, beta 1 did not present any significant changes.

We hope today’s beta will introduce some new features to explore. There will likely be numerous betas ahead before macOS 15.5 is available for the public, allowing Apple ample time to incorporate noteworthy enhancements.

We’ll keep you updated on any findings in macOS 15.5 beta 2.

That said, with the big reveal of macOS 16 approaching in June, it’s reasonable to expect that Apple might focus on bug fixes and minor improvements for version 15.5.
