A new beta version of macOS Sequoia 15.2 is currently being released to developers. Beta 3 introduces the latest modifications and enhancements for Mac users in anticipation of the public launch of 15.2 next month.
Throughout the beta phase of macOS 15.2, various new features have been integrated.
There may still be additional features included in today’s Beta 3 update, and we’ll keep you updated on all new findings.
With several weeks remaining before the December release of macOS 15.2, Apple has ample time to address bugs and improve performance, meaning we can expect changes today. However, with upcoming betas, it may be more challenging to identify significant revisions.
MIA Apple Intelligence Features
Once macOS 15.2 and iOS 18.2 are released, most of the key AI features announced by Apple will have been launched.
Here’s what still awaits release at a later date:
- Genmoji support for Mac (currently available on iPhone and iPad in 18.2)
- Priority notifications
- Improvements to Siri for better personal context awareness, on-screen awareness, and new interactions within and between apps
While there has been considerable discussion regarding Apple not deploying its AI features ahead of the iPhone 16 launch, it’s impressive that nearly all significant Apple Intelligence features will be available by December. Moreover, Apple is consistently introducing other valuable enhancements.
