Over the past few years, I have tested numerous MagSafe chargers. I frequently switch them out on my desk, nightstand, and while traveling, trying out a variety of models. The foldable design is genuinely practical

Many travel MagSafe chargers boast portability, but this one truly manages to fit snugly into a bag without taking up excessive space. The 180° folding design resembles a mini charging mat that can be neatly tucked away when not needed. While many MagSafe chargers offer a fixed angle, I appreciate this one’s customizable positioning depending on the activity. Moreover, the hinge feels robust, which isn’t always the case with cheaper MagSafe charging stands.

The Apple Watch charger is discreetly located on the back, so if you don’t wear the watch or charge it elsewhere, it’s out of sight. The AirPods charger is also located on the underside and remains hidden when the stand is fully collapsed.

Simple attachment and detachment

The stand’s weight presents both advantages and drawbacks. It provides a stable travel dock, but makes it less ideal for use on a nightstand. The base is relatively lightweight, so removing your iPhone requires either two hands to lift it or one finger to stabilize the dock while you pull your iPhone off. That said, the MagSafe magnets are exceptionally strong.

Charging performance

This product offers fast charging with the included 18W adapter (and USB-C to USB A cable) and, in testing, it usually delivers on that promise. While it doesn’t quite match the speed of Apple’s braided MagSafe charger, it comes very close. You can expect a full charge for an iPhone to take about 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the initial battery level.

Conclusion

One detail I overlooked earlier is the range of color options, which offers a refreshing alternative to many docks. It is available in black, blue (in light and dark shades), and pink (referred to as rosy red). I appreciate this variety and opted for the dark blue version. Overall, it’s a commendable dock for the price. It efficiently charges everything, and I enjoy the adjustable angle support. My only drawback is that detaching the iPhone can be a bit tricky, but this contributes to its lightweight portability in a travel bag.
