A boy is being born to Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy!

With the assistance of their son Shai, 6, the “DWTS” pros revealed the gender of their second baby through Instagram this Thursday. The happy parents celebrated in the back as Shai could have seen unfolding a sheet of parchment that announced his younger sibling’s sex. “The Chmerkovskiys are forming their football team as a whole, LOL!” The sex reveal was captioned by Murgatroyd, 36. We are overjoyed that their younger kid, Shai will have a baby sibling and are eager to meet him.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s Wife Opens Up About Losing First Pregnancy

Adding to her delight over the news, the pregnant mother wrote that their upcoming child loved to kick his mother in her ribs. Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s wife further added that they were super thrilled to know that the baby was doing well and was healthy. She added that “nothing compares to receiving that call from the nurses informing you of all positive results after a painful pause.” 

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd revealed in January, they announced the birth of their second kid together, following several miscarriages and IVF treatments.

The pregnant dancer said that they were all shocked when they learned about it just before she started the second session of IVF. Adding that their family has experienced great joy as a result of this news, and they were very appreciative. The duo had openly stated their desire to give their child Shai a brother before becoming pregnant, but they had difficulty conceiving. Murgatroyd admitted in June last year that she lost her first child in the restroom of a food court in 2020. She revealed that she had been resting in the washroom crying. Being inside the washroom, she recalled sitting by herself, trying to process the whole situation in disbelief and convincing herself that it would be something she would have to live with it for as long as she lived.
