The representative of the social media platform, Twitter, released a statement which was in the form of an email. This was with regard to the suspension of the account of Marjorie Taylor Greene. The statement published said that the account suspension was a temporary one. It also said that she had violated the ‘civic integrity policy’ of the social media platform, a number of times.
Marjorie Taylor Greene did not hold herself back after this step was taken by Twitter. She released a statement where she put accusations on the social media company of suppressing the political voices that were conservative in nature. The statement released by her said that there were a few tech giants working in the United States of America, that have a stranglehold in American politics. And this was now getting out of control.
Marjorie Taylor Greene had promoted the QAnon theory of conspiracy, online. This was in a video that dates back to the year, 2017. After this, she changed her pathway and claimed that this was not involved in her campaign.
