Matthew Perry, 53, best known for his phenomenal role as Chandler Bing for the popular American TV Series Friends had to go through surgery before the shooting of the reunion episode for Friends.
Matthew stated in an interview with Diane Sawyer that he had to go for dental surgery before last April. The talk session was aired on ABC’s “Nightline”. Matthew also added that the surgery made his mouth feel fiery and that he had to sit for “all sorts of things.”
After the dental surgery was conducted Matthew failed to speak properly and was slurring his speeches. He stated that his fans were left very much tensed and worried about his well-being.

Matthew Perry told the interviewer that his voice sounded off during the time of his delivery of speeches but he knew that he had to show up. He stated that he chose to attend the events and give his best. He tried to do the best that he could.
Matthew Perry suffered and struggled a lot with his drug addiction. He went into rehabilitation several times. Since last year Perry has been completely sober. He revealed that he was now clean of all sorts of substances and is leading a sober life. He has recently come out of the tough time of his life a few months before the long-awaited reunion of the popular TV show Friends which aired in May 2021.
