Nick Carter has been sued by artist Melissa Schuman for assaulting her sexually.

In certain court documents retrieved on Tuesday, Schuman has alleged that in the year 2003 when was around the age of 18 and Nick Carter was of 22 years, the prominent member of the famous 2000s boy band, Backstreet Boys, had forcefully performed on her oral sex before making her reciprocate the same. Nick Carter, who is now 43 years old, then apparently proceeded to molest her and ruin her virginity, as claimed by Melissa, even after she repeatedly informed him that she was keeping her virginity for marriage.

Melissa who now is 38 years old, accused the star of having raped her initially at his California apartment in Santa Monica, saying that the allegations made by Harvey Weinstein were for her an instant trigger.

Nick Carter On Rape Allegations Against Him

In February, of the same year, she had allegedly submitted a report to the Police Department of Santa Monica, expecting that Nick Carter would have to endure criminal charges for his heinous actions. however, the police department has declined prosecution against the singer the right that allowed her to launch any kind of legal action had ended. However, a particular law in California that came into effect at the beginning of this year resurrected claims of sexual assault as well as her right that allows bringing legal action against anybody that had expired.

Amid this, Nick Carter not only denied the allegations of rape made against him, but he also lodged a countersuit in opposition to Schuman as well as Shannon Ruth a young pop star suffering from autism, who in around December last year alleged that she had also been raped by Nick Carter around the year 2001 while in a bus. She was also 17 years old at the time. Nick Carter stated in this suit that the girls were making false allegations by conspiring against him.

Schuman however, maintained that her fight was to make her industry a better and safer place for women.
