Numerous supporters of Miranda Lambert are showing up to stand up for the country singer against online bullies who are defaming her physique.
This week, a video of the 38-year-old “Drunk (And I Do not Want to Go Home)” singer performing on stage was uploaded on TikTok.
In a graphic t-shirt, denim shorts, and cowboy boots, Miranda Lambert serenaded the big crowd while appearing “happy and healthy,” as numerous social media fans noted. However, other individuals, mainly men, felt compelled to make jokes about the musician’s physique, using terms like “Miranda HAMbert,” “Miranda Lamburger,” and “Mealranda Lambert.”
Haters Bully Miranda Lambert For Her Weight
Others did not even attempt to pass off their crude comments as comedy, instead telling the Texas native to “mix in a salad” and “go to the gym.” Of course, there were also the online trolls who said that her ex-husband Blake Shelton “dodged a bullet” by requesting a divorce in 2015.
One of the answers read, “Well, I suppose we know who took it the wrong way,” and was followed by, “Wait, did she eat Blake?”
The “Voice” judge, who later wed co-star Gwen Stefani last summer, was even described as having “traded in [his] SUV for a small” by another person. No one, including Lambert’s followers, was having it.
One disgruntled TikToker on the video wrote, “Not a Miranda Lambert lover but these remarks didn’t pass the vibe check,” while another added, “Clicked on a couple of profiles and you all really have no place to criticize about her looks.” “I enjoy that only guys are making weight-related remarks about her. Another person said, “She looks wonderful. Half of the males in the comments would be happy to meet a woman like her.” A fourth critic agreed.
