Morgan Wallen was back in the news on Tuesday. But even after two months, the fans of the country music idol have no idea when he is returning to the stage. He revealed on Instagram that he will instead continue to work on himself.
He revealed that he had done much to improve himself, though he still needs time to work on himself as he continues to stay away from the stage and the music he loves so much.
Morgan Wallen has stayed away from the stage since February when a scandal erupted for violating pandemic rules in the state of Alabama. He says that the time out he has taken has helped him improve a lot as a person. But he still needs time away from music and for himself.
So his fans will miss Morgan Wallen on stage this summer. The star will be absent at the festivals or even the Luke Bryan tour. But he still wants to be present there as a fan and express his support for country music.
A Regrettable Incident, Says Morgan Wallen
The scandal involving Morgan Wallen erupted in February this year after a video surfaced that showed him returning to Nashville after a night out. He appears to hurl a racial slur at someone. He was also at the scene violating pandemic restrictions last October.
He had apologized after the controversy. His music was no longer on prominent sites including Apple, Spotify, Pandora, and popular radio stations.
His recording deal with Big Loud was suspended and his The Double Album was not allowed to compete at this year’s Country Music Awards.
He says he continues to make amends for his mistakes. Currently, Morgan Wallen is in Nashville and thanked his fans for their love. He assured them that he will be back soon.
