Due to “horrifically severe ankylosing spondylitis,” Mars ceased performing with the group around September of the previous year, but he still intended to work with them. Mötley Crüe’s lead guitarist and founding member Mick Mars have launched a report against the group and its tour agencies for allegedly trying to get rid of him.

According to court documents acquired by sources, Mars, 71, submitted the complaint in LA County’s Court, asking businesses to turn over corporate documents to guarantee he obtained his righteous shares post opting out of touring last Sept because of health issues.

Mick Mars, backup vocalist as well as the lead guitarist for Mötley Crüe, claimed that he could not anymore hit the road with the band after being together as a founder for 41 years owing to his horribly crippling ankylosing spondylitis, according to the documents.

He clearly stated, though, that he might still sing alongside them, if in a studio scenario, make music with them, as well as will undoubtedly remain with their ensemble, he only stated that he would no longer be able to physically take the hassles of a tour.

Mars’ bandmates are named in the lawsuit as the alleged organizers of the urgent meeting of the shareholders to leave Mick Mars, the fourth member of their team Mötley Crüe, not only get rid of him as a director in their corporation but also leave him from the band and eliminate his stocks in the company. Surprisingly, these statements were made regarding Mars’s playing despite the fact that he,  did not perform even one bass note throughout the whole tour, according to the lawsuit. The irony is that all of his bass portions were recordings. When sources asked a spokesperson from Mötley Crüe for comment, they did not get back to them right away.

In 2019, Mötley Crüe launched The Tour, which began around June of the previous year.
