Following a substantial 40% growth per year from 2019 to 2023, it is now estimated that growth will decelerate to just 5% in 2024 and subsequently decline by 4% in 2025. Currently, demand hovers around 22 million panels.
Despite this, DSCC believes Apple’s entry into the foldable space could trigger a surge in demand, as the company may introduce innovative features. Many users have expressed admiration for the Galaxy Z Flip yet remain loyal to their iPhones.
Expected Release Date
Multiple sources indicate that Apple’s inaugural foldable iPhone is slated for release in the latter half of 2026, likely in conjunction with the iPhone 18 series.
