Netflix has decided to pause any price hikes to clarify that it did not intend to enable the long-desired feature for Apple TV users.
Today, users of the Apple TV set-top box noticed that Netflix films and series were showing up in Apple’s TV app. This basic integration allowed Netflix content to be included in Apple TV’s universal queue for managing and resuming a watch list.
However, just a few hours after this feature appeared in the U.S., it began to disappear. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg indicated that he suspected this integration was a glitch, though it’s possible that genuine support may arrive later. Meanwhile, The Verge has reported that Netflix confirmed the inclusion in Apple’s TV app was an error and was not meant to happen.
Netflix has a history of resisting integration with Apple’s TV app, as it prefers to be the exclusive destination for streaming movies and TV shows.
