A series order for an animated program with no name yet set in the Stranger Things world was revealed by Netflix on Monday.
Even if Season 5 is slated to be the final season of the main series, it can be difficult to let go of a good, successful thing. Netflix is in no rush to abandon Stranger Things. This year, a prequel tale play will be performed in London, and there has been much discussion on future spin-offs. One is more likely than the others since the streaming service has commissioned an animated series based on the popular program.
Netflix Is Currently Filming Season 5
With the exception of the fact that it will take place in the show’s universe, no story details regarding this one have escaped the Upside Down. It has the support of the Duffer Brothers, who created the series and was created by Eric Robles and Flying Bark Productions.
The animated series is Random! Cartoons, Fanboy & Chum Chum, and Glitch Techs were previously produced by Robles. on addition to the animated spinoff, the Duffer Brothers are currently working on a stage adaptation of Stranger Things called The First Shadow, which will premiere on London’s West End in late 2023. Naturally, they still have to make the mothership’s landing successful.
The last season of the mega-hit series with a 1980s setting that is currently Netflix’s most-watched English-language series is yet to have a launch date.
The release date for Season 5 presumably won’t be revealed any time soon, either. Even though the first episode’s title has already been made public, David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper, said at the Middle East Film & Comic-Con in March that Stranger Things’ final season won’t even begin filming until the summer.
