A new stimulus check payment seems to be in the works, and it will be coming to several eligible residents in the United States of America. The state of Massachusetts has decided to grant this new payment to the states for the sum of $500 per month.
The process of the applications to receive the new stimulus payment will start within a couple of weeks. So, any citizen who wishes to apply for this stimulus payment will be able to apply within a few weeks. The new program which will grant the payments has been called the Rise Up Cambridge program. The process will start on 1st June and will end the next year on 31st July. The process of screening will be done so that the applications will be accepted on a completely rolling basis, without having to wait till the end to find out whether they received the payment or not.
Stimulus Check Payment Coming For the State of Massachusetts
There are several requirements that one needs to pass through to be eligible for the stimulus check payment in the state. The first requirement would be that the household should have at least a single child. Along with that, it is also mandatory that one be a resident of Cambridge. One also has to be above the age of 18, and a single person in the household should be at least 21 years of age.
The money for the payment will be funded by a $22 million fund within Cambridge. The income of the family must be at or below 250% of the federal level of poverty. For those wondering, these stimulus checks have absolutely nothing to do with any claims of Social Security.
