According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics summary of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), the inflation rate was 6.5 percent at the end of the year, down from 7.1% in November. Even if inflation has reduced, several states will still provide inflation relief payments, stimulus checks, or tax refunds in January 2023 and beyond.
Will Your State Send A Stimulus Check?
These stimulus checks were granted last year to assist those who were struggling with high pricing.
Colorado
Colorado taxpayers might get upwards of $750 by Jan 31 of the current year if they requested a delay in completing their tax return for 2021, which was due on October 17th.

Contrarily, taxpayers who submitted their 2021 state tax filings between July 31 and Dec 31, 2022, would receive a stimulus check for their refund up to 10 weeks after the tax department accepts it, or 12 weeks if they prefer a paper check. The issuance of direct deposits began towards the end of August.

Taxpayers in South Carolina started getting checks for up to $800 in income tax refunds in November. Payments for taxpayers who filed their 2021 tax filings by Oct 17, 2022, should have been issued by the end of 2022. If they file their papers after the Oct 17 timeframe for the delay but just before Feb 15, 2023, you will receive your payout in March 2023.
