Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh were seen being a part of the same Pre-Oscars party but noticeably avoided each other throughout. The 27-year-old star of Don’t Worry Darling, and the 39-year-old director of the same was definitely mingling with others at the Creative Artists Agency’s star-studded bash at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles.
However, it must also be mentioned that the former co-workers were not seen or photographed together at any point during the night where they could have partied or even greeted each other. Sources close to the stars also mentioned that no one saw them interact with each other.
Olivia Wilde Celebrated Her 39th Birthday At Pre-Oscars Party
The Pre-Oscars Party was quite star-studded, for apart from Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh, others who were in attendance were Elton John, Jennifer Aniston, Leonardo DiCaprio, Vin Diesel, Demi Moore, Dua Lipa, Sandra Bullock, and Pedro Pascal. Interestingly, Wilde was also snapped blowing out the candles from a cake- for it was her 39th birthday on Friday.
But that wouldn’t detract anyone from the fact that rumblings of bad blood between Wilde and Pugh have been on the surface for quite some time now. According to media reports, Pugh was unhappy that Wilde was having an affair with Harry Styles at the same time she was with Jason Sudeikis. Interestingly- Wilde has split from both of the men since.
Reports of drama also came to the front regarding Shia LaBeouf and Florence Pugh– with Olivia Wilde siding with LaBeouf. When it was time to promote Don’t Worry Darling, Pugh actually skipped out on the premiere in New York City- but it was later revealed that she was busy filming Dune: Part Two in Europe.
