Opera One Empowers Users to Manage and Control Tabs Using AI

On Wednesday, Opera unveiled a new update for Opera One, its browser centered around artificial intelligence. This latest version allows users to conveniently manage and control their tabs through AI.

Opera One Enhanced with New AI Capabilities

According to a blog post from Opera, the Tab Commands functionality introduces a fresh method for interacting with tabs in Opera One through Aria, Opera’s AI assistant. Essentially, users can issue commands to Aria like “close all tabs except this one” or “group my Pinterest tabs together.”

The company elaborates, “You can instruct your browser to pin your streaming services to stay updated or even to close all your Wikipedia tabs once you are done with your homework. If you wish to save them for later, simply request it to group them in a tab island.”

Other command examples include:

  • Pin my YouTube tabs
  • Save all my tabs
  • Create a group with DMN tabs

To quickly input a tab command, use “Command + /” on Mac or “Control + /” on Windows.

The updated version of Opera One also introduces new AI Feature Drops, enhancing Aria’s capabilities. These updates include refinements to Writing Mode and the option to place Aria within a browser tab. Opera asserts that its AI assistant can now generate more comprehensive responses about various subjects such as recipes, products, and games.

You can download Opera One from the company’s official website. The browser supports multiple platforms, including macOS, Windows, and Linux.
