One could safely assume that Patti LuPone isn’t too interested in watching Kim Kardashian make her debut on TV.
The 74-year-old Broadway legend slammed the celebrity on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday when the host of the show Andy Cohen asked her and John Leguizamo, another guest, whether they wanted to see the 42-year-old reality star being cast in the franchise of American Horror Story.
The Broadway star seethed that she did, in fact, care about it. When the host asked her to clarify if she liked the chain of events, the actor, in her unsurprisingly theatrical fashion, answered that she didn’t like it. When Cohen asked her why, the actor stated that Kim Kardashian was taking away roles from genuine actors.

Patti LuPone further continued that there was no reason for Kim Kardashian to go in this direction. She also called her Mrs. Worthington, referencing the English composer and playwright Noel Coward’s 1935 song ‘Mrs. Worthington’ about momagers who were overly zealous.
Just this month, the co-creator of AHS, Ryan Murphy went on to announce that Kardashian would be starring in the 12th season of this show. In a statement, the creator stated that Kim was one of the brightest and biggest television stars in the whole world, and the show would be welcoming her with open arms. It has been reported that the founder of Skims would be playing a role that was written specifically for her.
Despite Patti LuPone’s vitriol, Kim Kardashian will be joining Emma Roberts in the new installment of the anthology, which was titled ‘Delicate’. This is based on the forthcoming novel of Danielle Valentine called Delicate Condition.
