A recognizable face is all set to return to SNL as season 48 of NBC’s SNL approaches its conclusion. You’ll be happy to know that Pete Davidson will be hosting SNL on May 6 if you already miss him after he left the show last season. The special artist for the program airing on May 6 will be the former SNL cast member. The timing is ideal because Davidson has been promoting Bupkis, which premiers on Peacock TV.
The famous actor-comedian is expected to have a busy month since, according to recent reports, he will also be gracing the Met Gala this year. Representatives for Pete and SNL were contacted for comment but no response came as of yet.
Pete Davidson And The Premier Of Bupkis
Pete Davidson seemed to be really thrilled to return to his Saturday Night Live haunt at 30 Rock! His affection and admiration for Lorne Michaels, who is executive producing Davidson’s new show, are well known by this point. Since Davidson was the youngest cast member to debut on SNL since the program’s start in 1975, Michaels can be seen as Davidson’s early mentor.
Pete Davidson has devoted his time since leaving Saturday Night Live to his autobiographical Comedy series titled Bupkis, where he portrays a fictitious part of himself.
Up to his exit after the 47th season, Davidson was a cast member of the show. In what came to be known as SNL’s mass audience, he departed the show along with Kate McKinnon and several others. We all know that Pete Davidson’s appearance on SNL is a one-time event, but we wish to have him back to host in the future. If you enjoy Pete Davidson and Curb Your Enthusiasm, you should probably note May 4, 2023, on your calendar so you can see him perform on his series Bupkis on Peacock TV.
