Passionate photographer and founder of Anton Ortigas Photography, Anton Ortigas, sets the pace in the world of photography with creative shots
Anton Ortigas is a photographer, entrepreneur, and coffee aficionado who has been able to seemingly disrupt the photography industry in a relatively short while due to his unique shots. The travel enthusiast has carved a niche for himself for capturing the extraordinary in the mundane, with his creativity and ingenuity standing him out from other players in the industry. Over the years, Anton and his team at Anton Ortigas Photography have gained traction with their “out of this world” shots.
History has it that photography originates from the Greek words photos, which means light, and graphos, which means drawing. The practice has evolved over the years, growing to become a multibillion-dollar industry. According to a report from IBISWorld, the industry revenue is expected to grow an annualized 1.1% to reach $11.2 billion from 2015 through 2020, which includes an anticipated 0.9% increase in 2020 alone, with more than 212,200 businesses. One photographer that has taken the industry to new heights in recent times is Anton Ortigas.
Anton ventured into photography a couple of years ago, a trait that can be largely attributed to his love for traveling. Anton has become addicted to the practice of taking amazingly great and stunning pictures that only a few can imagine. “My addiction to photography started two years ago. Having been able to travel around the world because of work exposed me to so many different cultures and people,” said Anton Ortigas.
In addition to capturing amazing images of different sites and locations, Anton Ortigas is also a social entrepreneur. The coffee lover has turned his addiction to a business and philanthropic venture by launching two Philippine Coffee Businesses. “I am a coffee addict and current owner of two Philippine Coffee Businesses. Both are centered on supporting local coffee farmers and roasters. We the People Coffee and Tea, Inc. is more of our way of giving back to society by donating a portion of our sales to different local charities,” said Anton Ortigas.
Anton Ortigas is also the Country Manager and Director of Cotecna Elite Philippines, Inc., which is a subsidiary of Cotecna SA out of Geneva. The company is an Independent Third-party Inspection, Certification, and Testing company.
