Prince Harry, who’s been busy settling into his post-royal life with Duchess Meghan Markle, has been vocal about how the couple is doing in the wake of their split from the monarchy. In an interview with Dax Shepard on Wednesday’s episode of “Armchair Expert,” he expressed his desire for having his father back and brother Prince William again.
Prince Harry has revealed that he wishes he could have his family back.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Prince Harry said: “When you lose someone who is part of your life and you’ve known them for 20 years… I’d like to have my brother and my dad back.”
He added: “I’m not ready to talk about it publicly, but it’s not as if I haven’t thought about it, or tried things privately.” The prince also revealed that his decision to publicly talk about his feelings came from being part of a royal family.
Prince Harry Remembers The Royal Family
Prince Harry is the only member of the royal family who has been outspoken about his concerns regarding his family’s future, he told Shepard on Wednesday.
“I’d like to have my brother and my father back, but that’s just me personally,” he said in an episode of the ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast with Dax Shepard on Wednesday. “But I am part of this family, I’ve tried to work things out privately, if that failed I had to talk.”
The Prince also talked about his plans for Christmas in England. He said he would spend it “at home,” but was not sure where he would be spending Christmas yet – perhaps at Frogmore Cottage or at Kensington Palace with Meghan Markle (the Duchess of Sussex).
Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world when they announced they were stepping down as royals and becoming financially independent in January of 2020. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were mired in controversy after they reportedly participated in a secret evening meeting with Oprah Winfrey to discuss their experiences within the royal family before their final split.
