Public Beta 2 for macOS 15.3, iPadOS 18.3, and More Now Available

Just a day after releasing beta 2 for developers, Apple has launched public beta 2 across its various software platforms. This update is available for macOS Sequoia 15.3, iPadOS 18.3, watchOS 11.3, among others.

New Features in Apple’s Latest Software Releases are Limited

Currently, Apple is offering several software updates for public beta users to test, including:

  • iOS and iPadOS 18.3
  • macOS Sequoia 15.3
  • watchOS 11.3
  • tvOS 18.3
  • and HomePod 18.3

Throughout this beta cycle, the software updates have notably offered few new features.

The platforms that support the Home app have begun laying the groundwork for robot vacuum compatibility; however, not much else has been uncovered.

The beta 2 update released today introduces a modification to the Calculator app on iPad, enabling users to perform repeated calculations by pressing the equals button several times.

This functionality was present on iPhone prior to iOS 18 but was removed during Apple’s Calculator updates last fall.

Now, iPad users can rejoice as they can once again repeat operations—and for the first time, do so on an iPad.

Overall, these beta updates have primarily focused on performance enhancements and bug fixes. However, as the beta cycle progresses, additional changes may be introduced.
