Ripple Loses Another Partner
On the other hand, on the 8th of March, Ripple also commented that the companies ending the partnership can most likely resume their commitment sometime in the future.
Garlinghouse has also mentioned that together with MoneyGram (MGI), they have successfully been able to process several billion dollars with help of RippleNet as well as the liquidity services of On-Demand (ODL). He further added that despite the lack of crypto infrastructure, they have definitely succeeded in achieving a lot together.
The CEO also repeated his allegations against the lawmakers of the United States of America who are trying to ruin the crypto markets by their inability to create transparent regulatory measures.
He even spoke to Axios, a financial outlet, where he expressed his accusations against the US government who has claimed the XRP tokens have an adverse effect as a security for the larger cryptocurrency sector.
The partnership of MGI and Ripple had started in 2019 June and the agreement was due to expire in the year 2023. Nonetheless, MGI called quits with this fintech company after the California court sued MoneyGram owing to the reason that they had made false statements about Ripple Labs as well as XRP tokens.
AT this moment, MGI stock has declined by 9% while XRP surged 2% and trading at the level of $0.48.
